The bathroom with a bath or shower was spacious and comfortable. As a guest with disabilities, I really appreciated the ease of access and the thoughtful design that catered to my needs.
Personally, I found the bathroom with just a shower to be a bit cramped. However, others might still enjoy the convenience of a quick shower.

Beautiful, quaint cottage in a jaw-dropping scenic location, with a stream in front and grazing sheep and goats behind. Conveniently situated near a pub and local shop. The provided complimentary items of cake, wine, fruit, and fresh cut flowers were a super surprise. The log fire added to the cosy atmosphere. Exceptional value and perfectly located for exploring the southern lakes and coast. A mind-blowing escape to the country! Cycling, off-site car park, pets allowed, and wi-fi available. No smoking on site. We will definitely be returning.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of the cottage. The floral wallpaper and cozy furniture made me feel right at home. The common areas were accessible for senior people like myself, with comfortable seating and well-lit hallways. It was delightful to relax in such a beautiful setting.
I would have appreciated a more attentive staff to assist senior guests with any specific needs or concerns.

One thing I absolutely adored about this charming cottage was its delightful decor. The cozy furnishings and quaint country-style touches made me feel right at home. It was wonderfully accessible for us seniors, with everything conveniently located on one level and no stairs to navigate. Such a relief for my old bones!
If I had to ask for anything to make our vacation even better for senior folks like myself, it would be a bit more assistance from the children working there. Sometimes, it would have been nice to have a helping hand with carrying our bags or getting the log fire going.

I must say, the decoration of the cottage was simply charming. The vintage furniture and cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and gave off a warm and inviting vibe. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated how accessible the hotel was. There were no steep stairs or difficult pathways to navigate, making it easy for me to move around and enjoy my stay.
If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have more assistance available from the children working there. Sometimes, a little extra help with carrying bags or getting settled in can make a big difference for us older folks.
